When you press that you'll be brought to an additional box that asks for a name for your macro, and has several images attached to it. Once you've opened and accessed the macro interface, you'll be able to see a red box on the bottom right hand corner of the macros page that says 'New'. For example, in the screenshot shown below, those seven macros I have listed will not show up if I log on to my Shaman unless I copy them to the general macros page. Any macro you make within the general macros tab will be accessible and viewable on all of your characters, whereas any macro made within the character specific tab is only viewable and accessible on that character. Note that there are two separate tabs within the macros page one that is labeled 'General Macros' and another that is labeled ' Specific Macros'. In order to access the macro interface in World of Warcraft, you'll need to open your chat box and type the following command: /macroīy doing the above, you'll be brought to an interface that looks like the image shown below. One press of the macro will equate to one button click - you cannot get around this.
